Per gli emigranti italiani arrivati nel diciannovesimo secolo, negli Stati Uniti, quest’arma divenne popolare.
Quest’arma è stata usata nella serie TV di Tele 5, “Tierra de Lobos”, che è stata portata dal fratellino, portata sulla schiena in una custodia progettata per tale uso.
